Wild Ducks Burrawang

Beautiful property with astounding views. The decor and design of our room was a mixture of ‘Italianate’ meets ‘French Provincial’ meets ‘contemporary’ - very cleverly done with a great deal of designer flair - right down to the polished concrete floor, solid concrete walls and very cool artworks. Everything was immaculately clean and extra ‘Covid safe’ measures put into place. The hot tub was a bonus and a welcome luxury! There are two sweet dogs on the property, who are quiet and well behaved and although we are not ‘doggy people’ they were not the slightest bit of trouble. Ed and Julie are the terrific hosts. Warm and friendly and wanting you to have the best experience on their gorgeous property - you know instantly that you’ve picked the right place to spend a couple nights, far away from the stresses of Sydney. The mattress was the only weak point. A good cheap fix would be a feather mattress topper (they have them in some of the best luxury hotels) - it would have made the world of difference to the sleeping experience. However I have still given 5 stars, because on the whole, our experience at Wild Ducks was pretty perfect.

We loved our stay here! We'll definitely be back. Thank you for hosting us Ed and Julie. We adored the healthy breakfast, the rooms are beautiful, and it was such a joy to wake up to the sound of the birds. Come and stay here if you want to get away from it all and unwind. It's fantastic to walk up to the pub in the evening and return back to the beautiful surrounds of Wild Ducks Burrawang. Loved it!

Perfect weekend getaway, Ed and Julie were very attentive to our questions and needs. 4 acres to roam around freely, very quiet and romantic. Highly recommend if you’re seeking a country escape in a small town
