Free dental so we really shouldn't complain, however, it is run by the government which is funded by tax payers. I, like millions of others have paid taxes for decades yet I am still waiting for a second appointment. While waiting the 3 teeth that needed filling have chipped away so much there is barely anything left, they will now have to be pulled. I have attended this clinic many times with a friend, there is never anyone i the waiting room, seems they only see so many people in one day and must have an awful lot of breaks between patients. i sat there one day while my friend was getting work done, for 55 minutes not one person walked in for an appointment.
I was told my next appointment wouldn't be long off, 11 months later and many phone calls, I am still waiting, this is not good enough.
A friend was told he would have to wait 12 months for partial dentures, he is still waiting 14 months later, on inquiring how much longer, he was told they didn't know.
Side note, these dentists would rather extract than fill. A good PRIVATE dentist will try everything to save your teeth!
It's free so it couldn't be worse
