Muswellbrook Hospital

We had to wait in emergency for 2 hrs listening to the doctors and nurses talking and laughing while we waited to be seen. So not happy

Thank you so very VERY much to the AMAZING Staff, Nurse's and Doctor's of Mussy Hospital for the BRILLIANT care given to my Mother! Each team of Nurse's provided ABSOLUTE exemplary care which I am eternally grateful for! I would also like to thank you ALL for the care given to my Daddio when he passed away from pancreatic cancer and for letting me stay with him through his final hours right up until he slipped through the veil!

Very friendly and helpful staff. However, waiting times are outrageous for the few patients. They hardly ever have doctors on site and 2 patients in the waiting room can sit for over 2 hours. No access to water either, just an expensive vending machine. ($3.60 for a small bottle of water)

Doctor and nurses were FANTASTIC in ER dept. but once I was in a ward the older nurse was outright scary. I asked for a little food or a bottle of water (was very dehydrated), I had no restrictions on food/water but she said "you wont get food till the breakfast and we dont have water bottles or anything like that here and was really sarcastic about it), I hadn't eaten for about 5 days because of vomiting associated with influenza. If I asked for anything she would smirk at me and talk to me in a really scary way like she was a bit mental. I'd never go back here. Shame she lets the rest of the team down.
