Difficult to deal with and rude. Insisted we pay for insurance we didn't want on the basis that this was their policy around $25 pm on top of rental. When we objected we were told we'd only been charged lower storage fees because we were long time customers which was irrelevant. For transparency we asked for a copy of the insurance policy the owner Rachel suggested if we weren't satisfied we didn't have to remain. The copy of an insurance policy never materialised despite repeated requests. Go elsewhere.
zero stars, I found office hardly ever attended, at least when I've tried to communicate in person regarding my account. I found communication near impossible except by text, phone gets answered but is always short and busy at best and then just rude. I found account excruciatingly hard to close and Racheal extremely difficult to deal with. Lots of other storage places in the Illawarra .caveat emptor.
Zero stars. Stay AWAY! Never use this business. A case of how simple missed facts or miscommunication can ruin a potential business. I honestly don't think there was any malice intended but the receptionist certainly needs professional front office training & to learn to fact-check details before accusing clients. Also the resident removalist needs to revise & improve his business protocols & processes & stop LYING ... period. The receptionist did not hold back from effectively calling me a liar and slamming the phone down on me today when I was outside their facility waiting to be let in to inspect storage facilities. I had booked an inspection for a removals job a few months ago that unbeknownst to me was apparently " a definite booking". Whilst I appreciated the visit, advice and friendliness at the time, I do not recall tying down a specific date and time and certainly did not get back to them to confirm it because I didn't even know when I would be gone myself. If I did, I would be too embarressed to use them again - I'd be off screwing over some other removalist , apparently!
So fast forward to today ... instead of letting me into the facility, whilst I am on the phone to the receptionist I am accused of wasting their time a few months back.."(receptionist) we lost $2000 in business because you were not there when 'Mr Removalist' turned up". Well 'Mr Removalist'..do you often turn to people's houses unannounced when there is no confirmation or follow up call. Rachel..do you think it is good business to call potential clients liars? How about a follow-up call a few months back to say "Hi, Is everything alright? We couldn't get a hold of you.. the removalist was there, where were you?"
Or were you waiting for me to turn up today just so you could say (effectively) "F&*% Off!
Amazing turn of events in 2 minutes on the phone. I guess Woonona is small enough that you guys will continue to get business. You will appear to others as - 'Small time business bogans' , Uneducated, Liars, Incompetent, No business sense, Lack of Respect, No courtesy, Arrogant, Don't give a rip about clients, just the "money" - when you get your facts wrong, and get emotional instead of learning how to deal with conflict resolution. Get rid of the removalist - he is a liar & a hack!
Have been trying to call for over three weeks about continuing to be charged despite cancelling out storage with four weeks notice and phones have rang out every time. There is also no one ever there when we visit to try and sort it out.
