A busy, happy place. The cakes are tasty and are the main reason we visit whenever in town. The coffee is good. The staff are excellent in their duties. This cafe is definitely worth a try.

Great selection of pies here. First visit and the range was dazzling. I opted for the chunky steak and the lamb, mint and rosemary. Wasn't disappointed. Both pies were tasty and filled just enough gravy to keep the pie moist, but not so much that it runs down your elbow. Big range of other local produce that I will definitely try on my next visit.
I took my 2 granddaughters for lunch today.
We decided to just have a drink and toasted ham, tomato and cheese sandwiches. The sandwiches were disgusting. The bread was toasted and ham, cheese and tomato were cold. The cheese tasted awful and the ham tasted off. Will never go there again. So disapointing.
Went to this cafe last Saturday, lured by the tempting cakes and cookies from their display. BAD MOVE. Bad service, lady manager and waitress are both have the cant be bothered attitude. My biscuits that I ordered from the window are both stale. Coffee a blah.
To top it all , we asked for tap water and it came on a dirty plastic cup which the cup rim was covered with black particles which is blatantly sitting on the cup rim.
Can’t comprehend how waitress can put water on a dirty cup and serve it to customers especially with COVID-19.
SKIP THIS CAFE as there’s lots of friendly cafes around with very warm and friendly servers.
Read the reviews, a lot of them BAD!!!
Be warned..
Had a pepper pie with chips and salad with a hot chocolate. Pie was nice. Nothing I would rush back to but nice. Chips and salad were standard and so was hot choc. All round not bad.
