We usually enjoy shopping at Aldis Cessnock but found 2 checkout people a bit rude today, 1 told me I was too close to the next person which happened to be my husband & we were shopping together & the other checkout guy wasting my time asking to check my small handbag which I could have declined but let him look at anyway, he only had a quick glance which I also consider another waste of time. Maybe they should have signs up & be more specific on rules for checking handbags.
Just wish you take the catalogues off the tiny counter at the checkout (for those without a trolley). Surely Aldi, you're not THAT desperate to advertise or are you. There are already piles of them at the bagging counter 😡
You could sell an extra cask of wine instead with more space there 🤗
Staff where polite and helpful, and as always prices were good. Checkout was polite and quick while still accurate. Product bought was also very good. Job well done in these difficult and frustrating times. :-)
The lady who served us, I didn't see her name unfortunately, but she really made our day.
I appreciate her amazing customer service, this store overall is great also
Pretty standard ALDI, very friendly staff, good stock levels. Good parking, easy ground floor access.
